Why Soy Wax?

The benefits of using 100% soy wax for our candles stretch far and wide! Unlike paraffin, which a lot of big brands use, its safe for both the consumer and the environment. It made using the oil of soy beans so it is a completely natural, bio-degradable ingredient. We have also carefully selected our wax to make sure that it is packaged in the UK, to reduce our carbon footprint even more.

As mentioned a lot of big brands use paraffin wax, which is a petroleum based product and when it burns it releases harmful chemicals into the air which no-one wants to inhale! Soy wax allows a clean burn, meaning no horrible black smoke when you light it and you completely avoid those unsightly marks on your wall.

Soy wax typically burns longer than paraffin and its scent throw is much more superior. Put simply, you get more for your money when purchasing a soy-wax candle! We use a wax to oil ratio that ensures, where ever you have your candle lit, it will fill the room and last for hours!

Another benefit is the easy clean-up. The containers we use for our candles can be used for multiple things. From storing your hair bands to snacks (our snack of choice would be chocolate buttons). Once your candle is finished, simply put the container in warm water, wipe the residue out with a paper towel and wash with hot, soapy water!
